Root Canal Treatments

Root canal treatment is required to repair a tooth once the pulp (nerve) of the tooth has been damaged. The pulp is the inner soft tissue part of the tooth containing, nerve fibers and blood vessels. Once the pulp tissue is removed the space that housed the pulp:- the root canal, is then filled with a rubber based material and sealed to protect the tooth.

We offer root canal treatment on the NHS and privately.

We use a different system of files and root canal fillers for our private RCT’s which negotiate curved canals more efficiently and allow us to use a heated sealer to fill the root canal space and accessory canals more effectively. This also reduces the appointment time required to carry out treatment.
